Quite a departure from the wild territories they ventured into with their major label releases. So far, the greatest thrash metal I've heard released in the 2020's. Plus, it's not everyday you hear Rhea Perlman on a metal record. t0cktock
Mike Patton is a vocal genius, Tomahawk are the great American hope for all bands to aspire to and this album just speaks to so many generations, clever well written music and sounds amazing. Darknight
Wow it's been a loooong time since I've been this excited about a prog album. PoiL and Ni are great bands in their own rights, but this project is so much more than the sum of its parts. I've not heard anything else quite like it, it's never boring. If I didn't know better I'd think these dudes are all actual wizards, especially with that band photo. 11/10 strongly recommended. sky · ghost
A compilation of rollicking cuts from this Australian post-punk band that plays like a hybrid of the Velvets and the Stooges. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 3, 2017
This music is unique from JGT and most music I listen to or hear. It has some rare energy like marching band music, where it feels somehow improper to sit still or not be worked into a frenzy by it. Maybe like doing cocaine in a pitch-black basement. thenewspaper
